Two Weeks Old

We took the girls up to Hoverlia for a few days..It was Maya's first road trip! She was really good. She got a lot of fresh air and even went to the beach! Here are a few pics of her from our trip. Maya turned two weeks today!

"8 Days a Week"

Ok, so it's taken just over a week for Maya to kind of figure out that she should stay awake during the day, and try and sleep at night. You forget this stuff ! We thought we'd remember everything that we did with Kika, but we don't! (Christine remembers much more than I do !) I think you get over the bad stuff like not sleeping, teething etc...by making yourself forget it, and just focus on the good stuff, like their first eye to eye contact with you, first smile, and first giant fart...LIKE MAYA HAD LAST NIGHT !!! MAN IT WAS INCREDIBLE !!! Here's a pic of her 8 days old, sleeping during the day !!!

Maya's First Bath

We bathed Maya for the first time this week in a stainless steel bowl. She didn't like it! Next time, we'll use the Salad Spinner or Beer Cooler.
